Home at Last!

I came home a day early from my last trip of Oct. 2006. I just couldn't imagine being receptive and functional for one more day in Portland, Oregon. And I rationalized my decision by noticing that I would save more money by eliminating one hotel night than it would cost to make the flight reservation change.

So, I'm really looking forward to sleeping at home for many nights in a row, something that didn't happen in October.

And then all 3 kids and spouses and significant others will be with us for Thanksgiving!

Now, back to bed to catch up on sleep. Daylight unsaving time has arrived at just the right moment for me!

PS: This spate of travel began with the death of my laptop and double separation from my luggage. Now Sally has let me take her laptop and I've got most things that I need working on it - and my new computer should arrive this coming week.

Dear Sally and Dorothy,

It was great to get your notes of Congradulations,Thank you both!

In fact last Thursday I was at the school because they
needed someone to fill in until the woman who would
be training me, was coming in on duty. It was a bit hectic
and I was getting phone calls and had to use the page
system for the first time to contact a teacher for a parent
who called with very little training. lucky she came in with
my new boss with in 15 minnutes. Great experience.

Part-time Job

Dear Family,

I am starting my Part-time job next Wednesday as a receptionist at the
Katherine Thomas School. And it will be a nice start from3:30 to 7:30pm
